Introduction to Rowing for Youth!
ERA's programs will get you on the Snohomish River and learning the basics in no time. Classes begin on the rowing machines (ergometers), allowing participants the opportunity to learn rowing terminology and technique in a very stable environment. The rowers will become familiar with rowing terminology, the fundamentals of technique, and learn to row in a fun group environment.
Rowing is perfect for people of all fitness levels and previous athletic experience! See how you can get involved below! Participants on the High School Team are divided into 2 groups depending on their experience level. Participants that are new to the sport should register for the Novice Team (this team is for everyone in their 1st year of rowing regardless of their age) or the Varsity Team, for everyone that has competed in a spring 2,000 meter race.
